Dear beloved Magical Experimenter,
As the longest night approaches and the first breath of returning light stirs in the dark, we’ve been feeling a pull to shorten the geographical distances between us and gather our community close.
We want to celebrate the Solstice with you! Instead of doing a formal ritual, we want to do something different, and well, experimental! We are envisioning a warm, glowing, mischievous, magical constellation of humans who show up for this work and for each other.
So we’re inviting you to something tender and sparkling and full of play:

This isn’t just an event, it’s a night to come home to the hearth we’re building together.
Why We’re Gathering
Solstice is the pause,
the inhale between cycles,
the hinge in the year,
and the moment the dark gives way to the slow return of light.
It feels like the perfect time to honor and play with Abundantia, our Magical Experiments Community Wealth Spirit, the fountain that feeds us as we feed her.
Abundantia was born because we never wanted this community to feel transactional.
We want reciprocity.
We want joy.
We want a spirit who throws her head back and laughs light into the world when we show up for each other. Solstice is her season!
What the Evening Will Feel Like
We want it to feel warm and intimate, like we are all sitting around a campfire together.
Expect:

✨ magic that sneaks in sideways and lands in the heart
Expect to see old friends and new faces you’ve never seen before but feel like you’ve known for years.
We want everyone to end our evening with their hearts a little more open, their energy a little more sparkled, and their relationship with abundance a little more alive.

She loves to arrive when things are joyful.

We’ve created games that are silly, sweet, accessible, and surprisingly magical. Sheena used to teach Theatre Sports/Improv. Adapting to a virtual play space will be a fun challenge!
